Dreaming in God’s grace

Dreaming in God’s grace

Hello everyone!

We’re back, again. I’m going to be totally honest in this post, and I hope you expect nothing less from me.

So, this whole starting up a business thing is pretty darn difficult. I knew that it wouldn’t be an easy feat from the beginning, but, really? I mean, come on. Life kicks you right in the teeth sometimes, and it took a good reality check for me to realize just how much work this would be. Hopefully, you’ve read my first blog and hopefully you caught my enthusiasm in it. Well, that determination and enthusiasm kind of sloughed off when I wasn’t immediately able to quit my 9-5 job and follow my dreams full time. Ouch. Major burn.

That whole fear thing I talked about in that first blog post is really putting me to the test. It is by God’s grace that I return to you, ready to tackle this thing once again. This verse is what I’m clinging to in this crazy process, and I hope that whatever you are going through that it will also encourage and strengthen you.

By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. 2 Peter 1:3

It’s so hard to trust that things are going to work out or that people will even like what you do. But, that’s not my problem. I’m going to do my best and let God do the rest. He’s already given me everything I need to accomplish whatever may come in this life.

Here’s to believing our dreams can come true.

With Love,

I’m a pretty lucky person. I’ve had the privilege of photographing my nephew, John Hogan, even before he was born. To top that off, my sister-in-law is a natural beauty with long blonde hair and pretty blue eyes. I got to take some photos of them in a field owned by a friend of the family. I was pretty excited about it because this field grows this amazing red grass between plantings! Here are just a few photos I got from that session so you can see why I’m so lucky. 😉
